Did Christopher Hitchens flirt with faith? – BBC Newsnight

absolutely perfect interview and rebuttal of the nonsense of Larry Alex Taunton, a relatively unknown evangelical Christian who is trying to sell books off of Hitchens’ name. Lawrence Krauss rightfully shreds this snake oil salesman…

eharmony:Find bigotry and hate With Our Trusted Dating Site

My highly perceptive wife, after seeing an eharmony commercial, said I should google who runs it because they spokesperson seemed weird and she got the “religious vibe” from it. So I did and it turns out Neil Clark Warren is a clinical psychologist, Christian theologian and Warren’s religious views also came into focus due to controversy over eHarmony’s policy on not offering same-sex matches. Warren explained his position by noting: “cities like San Francisco, Chicago or New York … they could shut [eHarmony] down so fast. We don’t want to make enemies out of them. But at the same time, I take a real strong stand against same-sex marriage, anywhere that I can comment on it.”
I don’t know why I’m still amazed when I find another every day example of this type of garbage. I would encourage anyone out there who cares about equality and the LGBTQ community to not use this bigoted company based on backward ideas.
