  1. That’s not actually what he meant. Sure, you’re redeemed, that is, your sins are atoned for by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. But are you saved? Not unless you believe and want to be.

  2. Would that be like, if I spread a rumor that you had done something terrible, but because you knew it never happened, you have no reason to feel “put out by it”?

    • actually, I apologize. I was a bit terse with that answer I think. I have no desire to argue with anyone. But I’m sure you will admit, religion has a huge influence over the lives of people everyday. If I believe it’s not true and even harmful to people, then I think I’m quite justified to feel put out by it.
